What I call elegance

"Do you want some coffee?" he asked politely, while pouring some in a cup. "Yes, please" I said, and added, "would you like some milk". (I was closer to the milk.) "Thank you, I like my coffee black", he answered, and handed me the cup he had just filled, elegantly, filling up another cup.

Feels like home :-)

Girls who beat up the boys

Ok, I am not sure about you guys, but I am so fed up with the image of the overpowering, men-beating, "don't look at me because I'm beautiful, look at me 'cause I'm smart" woman! I mean, come on - most of us have got the message. Equality, brotherhood and cooperation are on, but the proof of that is not in women behaving like men and overtrumping the latter in the spirit of retaliation and of proving the equality of sexes. Most movies and series I have been watching lately seem to be filled with single moms, girls who beat guys up and power-hungry ladies. I wish they were more subtle. I wish they did not lose their feminine side.

Later edit: Others are also concerned with the topic. Good.

Fill my heart with gladness
Take away all my sadness
Ease my troubles thats what you do

Prague: Black Light Theatre

There is a lot to be told about my Prague escape this summer, but I would like to start with the part that did not get photographed: the Black Light Theatre performance. I went to "Aspects of Alice" and liked it very much. Apart from the classical music concerts taking place at every noon and in the evenings in the Golden City, the Black Light Theatre is a particularly special form of art you will definitely enjoy. It involves a world of dreams mingled with a real world, cartoons and people moving onstage with the same easiness you would picture in a movie. Only it is real, and happening in front of your own eyes.

Cameras are forbidden, still I found this little movie on the Internet. Enjoy - and go there if you are in Prague!
